It had been quiet, the Empire was in its death throws, though Jonas and his two wives had been skeptical when the Republic called for victory. He just shrugged as his own AI, Abigail had pointed out the flaws in that call, and when Sakura, a doll who became integrated with him some decades earlier, had spotted other items, both pointing out that they needed to be on alert. Shaking his head, Jonas sent Kimberly to a nearby system with her fleet and capital ship, the Purple Scorpion, with their daughter Yuki while Elizabeth took her fleet, lead by the Jade Phoenix and Chelsea to another one.
Sitting there, he thought about his past, his wives, children, even how he met the two beautiful women on a particular night after a long running battle on some planet.
He had met his wife, Kim, in a bar one night on ship, she was with her friend Elizabeth, which would become his second wife, and both were married to him at the same time in a small ceremony, but that wouldn’t happen for a century.
He was at a booth eating after we had helped the Telios end a particularly troublesome rebellion, we were there as simple aids, offering support where needed. Jonas had just returned to the ship from the planet side battle, enjoying a steak and potato dinner when they sat across from me, a waitress in tow handing them a menu each. He rose an eyebrow at them, it was not shocking to seat like this on nights during and especially after a campaign, as the on board restaurants and bars were packed with battle weary soldiers, pilots, medics, technicians and anyone involved in the campaign. Jonas just never thought he would have the two of them in the same booth as me.
They looked up and smiled tiredly, Kim responding “Sorry, we just got off from shuttling you guys back.” She sighed and ordered, only to look at Elizabeth laughing. “What is it Lizzie?” She asked.
“We didn’t shuttle him or his brothers and sisters back.” Elizabeth replied, pointing at my heavily augmented body, a body that would become even more augmented in the following centuries.
She put her hand to her mouth, apologizing “I’m so sorry for sitting us here, the place is packed, and I’m so sorry, please, I’m sorry.”
Jonas shrugged and looked “It’s OK, you can sit with me.”
He was a magitek soldier, the elite of elite, talented, strong, intelligent and exceedingly rare to run across in the Imperial fleet. We were also loners, due to not only our rare ability to wield magic, but our augments used to enhance the use of that magic. It was said that one of me was worth several regiments of soldiers and at least two fleets. If we showed up, our side scattered to give us room to do our job, which was simple, delete everything in front of us, no surrender, no captives, everything had to die and destroyed.
“Did I just hear two fleet pilots apologize to the platoon commander?” Anders said behind me. “Fuck me, and they’re hot, I see how it is commander.”
He placed a hand on the back rest behind me and put a couple mega watts into a very finite spell, making him yelp loudly then laugh, apologizing. He smiled at the girls and gestured for them to eat as he finished my plate, only to have another one with a massive burger and fries on it.
“I wish I could eat like you guys and stay that fit.” Elizabeth remarked as her massive salad came in.
“Really, but I think we should eat somewhere else, come on Lizzie.” Kim started to move, collecting her stuff.
“No, eat.” was all he said as her own massive salad came in.
Both salads had to weigh at least five pounds each, though it wasn’t surprising, it took a lot for our bodies to maintain themselves and generate mana for our cybernetics. The few of us such as myself who could wield both mana and electronics needed far more food to maintain the feed of mana power to our cybernetics. I still looked human, but my body was bulked up to a much larger and condensed fashion, making us look like someone shoved the Incredible Hulk into a normal body.
Kim looked at him and just starred, “Are you sure? We can go and leave you alone.”
Jonas looked at her and cocked his head, “Sorry, I guess its disgusting to watch us eat, if you want you can but I would enjoy the company.”
Jonas was sincerely sorry, he didn’t want to be this, but was forced into the military by Imperial decree. We were the best of the best, the most powerful weapons in the Space Marines, there were no exceptions, you served, or you went to jail until you decided you hated being treated like shit. We were also called names, and looked down upon for our abilities and augments, but mostly, it was our need for so much food. We were always the last to get rashes, but it was never recorded in the records of it ever happening, so we got a seriously bad wrap for that.
We also seldom needed transport anywhere, we normally operated in our own ships, usually out of a base or station. We turned around to leave almost as soon as we came back to our home base or ship, or so that’s how it felt, but moments like this, we cherished them and never cared if people joined or jeered, we were what we were.
“No, it’s OK, we are staying.”
looked at me then starred down her friend, her half shaved and dyed head looking back at her. “Isn’t that right, Kim Yamato.”
She starred back at her redhead friend, who had the other side shaved “Fuck you Elizabeth Conn.”
There was a noise at the bar. “It’s Connors.” Abigail, his personal AI said, sending him info. “He had a bit to much mana juice.”
Jonas looked at the girls, putting a finger up. “One second, I have a troublesome child.” Then looking over his shoulder, “Anders, with me.”
The restaurant was setup with a bar against one wall, the kitchen behind it. From there, a wall with inner booths surrounded it, and then there were sections going out. Each section was small so a server could tend to their section easily, with walkways to and from the kitchen. The servers all had died hair,
some were shaved partially, while other had should length. A few were even sporting mohawks for the biker gangs who were passing through.
He walk over, Anders on my heel as we approach Connors, who was going on about his victories on the battlefield, and how he was better than me, that Jonas shouldn’t be platoon leader, blah blah blah. Jonas stood behind Connors, his hands behind my back, Anders behind me, a spell over his palm. Connors kept droning on until he eventually realized no one was looking at him, but rather, at a figure behind me. He turned around and his eyes bulged, beginning to tell me how Jonas didn’t deserved his position, that Jonas was unfit to lead Connors and that Jonas was only there because of his name, Kimke.
Then, Connors touched Jonas. Nobody, touches Jonas. He looked down at the finger, until Connors removed it, then, Jonas looked at Connors, and then, Jonas simply put a hand on the shoulder of Connors, looking at him as if Jonas was going to be nice, then with a spell, Connors body went into shock, his eyes bulging, limbs spazzing out, then, he collapsed. Jonas stepped back as Anders put his arms behind his back and with a spell, restrained him. The two of us stepped back as our Unit’s Military Police hauled him off for a nice cell to sober up in.
Jonas sat back down with the two ladies but before he could eat, he saw their faces, and they looked at him with total shock and awe. “I guess the two of us are sorry.”
“Don’t you dare apologize.” Elizabeth said. “That was the most amazing thing ever.”
Anders passed by as she said that and looked down “You should see him in battle, that was his least powerful spell.”
Their jaws dropped, and if that wasn’t enough, a small doll like figure came floating in on a small ship. It then landed on the tabled, allowing the figure to get out, then fly off for its next target. The figure was a six inch high doll, usually made for toys, but could be used as a DJ, spy missions, repair techs, and whatever we needed, but they were usually just toys at this point. A small group of them attained total sentience. Which the empire gave them rights just like the rest of us, so long as they didn’t try to overthrow us, not that they could, but usually teamed up with people they liked, more because there was no where for them to go, and usually they stayed with people such as myself, ones who could protect them and had a use for them as said techs, DJ’s, and whatever else they knew. Nobody worried due to their size, even if they got the rest sentience, which was oddly in the works, not like they were match for me and my kind.
She climbed up to my shoulder and sat down, then waved at the two girls. “Hi guys.” Then looked at me. “I see you finally got company pops.”
He groaned after swallowing a bite. “Sakura, this is Kim Yamato and Elizabeth Conn, squadron leaders of the Screaming Eagles.”
Their jaws dropped again. “You know us?” How? Why?” Kim asked.
“I make it a point to know the people that fly our troops.” He replied simply, and it was true, he wanted to know the people he worked with..
Elizabeth smiled and bent over the table, showing her cleavage. “Oh, you like knowing the people you work with huh?” she winked as Sakura bopped her on the nose.
“No horny please, he needs his energy for killing, not horny.” She said, starring her down.
That earned a snicker from Kim who began eating after that, but it took Elizabeth a few more seconds to start as her eyes glazed over, her AI feeding her information.
“She is pinging everything about you but due to military blocks, nothing is happening.” Abigail spoke up in my head.
After that, well, we got married, all three of us, though rare, it did happen. It was some time before Yuki and Chelsea were born, and they looked like their mothers. Chelsea had blazing red hair like Elizabeth’s that girls wanted, while Yuki had jet black hair like Kim’s that would almost dim rooms. Both girls had pale, clear skin, with a few freckles dotting their bodies.
The girls were raised to be open minded, but they were also raised under strict military rules. They were always made to clean their rooms, clothes were kept crisp and clean, and even though they were home schooled, they always made top grades.
Jonas smiled thinking about that time, and how close they became afterwards. Soon after that, Sakura had downloaded herself into Jonas to help with his cybernetics but had made him create a new body for her along with new ship for her. Both had used their bodies to walk around the ship, helping him with things that were of a more secret nature and either could not be transmitted or he could not be there in person. During the past century when he had gone into Purgatory, they were allowed to record and interact but only after their own AI had helped add code to insure they would not reveal secrets to the outside worlds.
The three systems were pinged as one of the three that the son of the family would run to in order to save his line and followers to rebuild and come back. In the five centuries Jonas had been alive, he spent near the entirety in one war or another, which left many mentally unstable but with the two AI’s, he managed to keep his mind. Sitting back, he sipped his coffee on an empty bridge, his ship being mostly automated by the ship AI in concert with Abigail and Sakura, leaving only a need for a couple divisions of marines that did anything that required a human but had otherwise kept to themselves and to protecting the ship.
The reason for this was two fold. The first was, Jonas was the Grand Imperial General and due to that, he made some serious design changes so there would be no requirement for a crew if a situation came up, one just like this, where having one would pose more of a danger. Elizabeth and Kimberly were on the same track of thought, but he sent his fleet and crews with them, as his had one feature the others didn’t.
The second reason why he was alone with only two divisions of soldiers was easy. Jonas Kimke, father, husband, grand general, was the future Lord of Purgatory on board a specially designed ship meant for him and the two divisions of soldiers from the Empire. That was only due to Heldom – Dauðr Rísabe augmented with Angels and Demons aiding in any auxiliary posts such as cooks, dancers, ran shops and the such. They also maintained parts that was specific to the realm and that would turn humans into burnt crisps. The ships name was known as the Crimson Flame, a hybrid variation of a Purgatory Cathedral Class ship and Terran Dreadnought, one that every living person in the empire and the former Eldaran empire knew all too well.
The families of the troops stationed on board has been evacuated to the capital world of the Republic, though temporary it was still the safest for them. The shops had been closed and the cafeteria served only what was required to keep the mortals like the troops and Jonas alive along with keeping the Angel’s and Demon’s full of mana. The system they were in was an off limits zone to all, even the Eldaran, even those who were neutral in their civil war six thousand years ago avoided it but those who served Idril and Oberon had been reported as coming and going along with other ships that the Republic could not identify.
Jonas knew the ships though due to being initiated into the realm as the new ruler a century earlier. They were from the other realms, but their identities were kept from everyone except those on the Crimson Flame. The people lead by Anders and Connors had all pledged fealty to Jonas, which guaranteed a slot in the realm. Looking back, he smiled as he sipped his coffee while looking at the screen, remembering when it happened.
Abigail had always gone with the Cyberpunk Japanese Warrior look while Sakura always went for Old school Nordic Warrior look. It even went as far as their android bodies, which everyone enjoyed, even though secretly. They trended to attempt castration anyone who went to far with their looks and cat calls, though they never went too far.
“Hello, Jonas.” The two said in unison, their heads bowed in a kneeling stance.
Walking in front of them, he looked at them and almost had to look away.
The Angel had a white aura around her, the wings seeming to slowly move as if hovering in a wind. The feathers look so soft, he wanted to lay his head on them. Her hair was platinum and went to the middle of her back, not one strand out of line. The clothing she wore looked like cloth armor, but he had a feeling it could repel anything he threw at it. Her skin was flawless and white.
The Demon had horns coming from her head, curving back slightly. Her wings seemed leathery like a bat, and they too seemed to sway as if hovering above ground. Her hair was pitch black, also going to the middle of her back. The skin was red and seemed to have orange sparks flaking off as if smoldering from a fire. Her armor was pitch black and like the Angel, it seemed like it could repel anything he threw at it.
“We come to bring you news.” The Angel said standing up. “First, let us introduce ourselves.” gesturing to the Demon. “I am Aphrael.” Bowing her head once.
“I am Felal.” The Demon said, bowing her own head. “We have a very, very Heldom – Dauðr Rísa, special message for you.” She said, smirking.
“Um, OK?” Jonas asked, stepping back.
He didn’t know a ton about Angels and Demons but he knew that if they came bearing news, it was either good news, or bad. From what he saw, it looked like it could go either way. They stood there, looking at him, then smiled.
“Don’t be afraid.” Aphrael said, smile.
“Well, that depends.” Felal added, smirking.
“Don’t scare him!” Aphrael replied In a slightly louder voice. “This is already scary for him!”
“I know, so get it over with.” Felal replied, looking towards her. “We were sent here for a reason. Now just tell him.”
With a sigh, Aphrael looked towards him, smiling as she tried to compose herself.
“As you know, there is Heaven, Hell, and then the other gods.” She started, waving her hand dismissively as she said ‘other gods’ but continued. “Well, there is Purgatory. It’s been, or, well, we have been leaderless for some time. We can explain later but, this is where you come in.”
“You’re the Prince of Purgatory.” Felal said, smirking at Aphrael. “There, job done. Now I need a bath.” She started to phase out but Aphrael put an arm on her shoulder, making the demon huff as she came back into full form. “Fine” She relented, crossing her arms, pulling a Heldom – Dauðr Rísahand up to look at her talon like fingers.
“Anyways.” Aphrael said, looking at Felal for a second then turning back to Jonas, shaking her head. “We will be back again in a couple days to give you more information, give you the key card you’ll need to walk around Purgatory, along with the portal spell. We’ll give you some books to read over, along with some data chips to help.”
From then on, he went back with Abigail and Sakura, as they had no option to join. The realm AI, Cortana, had always materialized them in their own bodies to help Jonas and were given souls though they were bound to Jonas until death, then would be bound to the realm. He didn’t quite comprehend it but they had been told all would become clear when they finally ascended and took their positions. It was nothing like Christ, as he was sent to the universe for reasons that had far reaching benefits and consequences, depending on where you stood with the Holy Realm.
They went to learn whenever there was a lul in battle or were not required to be present to learn spells, enchantments, treaties and anything else required so as to get the basics out of the way before said ascension occurred. They were all locked with the few, rare exceptions that the the minor gods of the other realms tried to interfere, with only Heaven and Hell staying out of said affairs, keeping to their own warfare between the two realms. Jonas went to sit down, wanting to relax, but as he began to sit, the lights on the ship went to deep red as klaxons sounded with an alert.
Warning. Enemy Fleet has arrived. Report to battle stations.
Standing straight up, Jonas sat his mug down and went to the walkway overlooking an empty pit below filled with computers that came to light as Abigail along with Sakura fired up everything in junction with the ship. Dauðr Risa by Heldom came on when the alert ended and the screen came up, showing the Imperial fleet with the last remaining person who could claim the title of Emperor, the son of the now dead Royal Family. When the androids controlled Abigail and Sakura came out of their alcoves, Jonas knew something was wrong.
“Scans show that the fleet in front of us has been augmented with technology from the other realms.” Abigail stated as she stood behind him and to the left.
“That is against the treaties.” Sakura added as she floated to his right.
It was then that six more trans-warp holes opened, four not too far from the Imperial fleet, with two beside his ship. After several seconds, fleets baring the signatures of Odin, Tiamat, Quetzalcoatl, and Susano came through and flanked the imperial fleet while a two Cathedral class ships and accompanying fleet came from the one beside his ship, flanking him. All fleets were all full power and ready for a battle.
“This is the.” A communication came through but was promptly cut off by Jonas.
“I know who you are.” Jonas told the man before he could finish. “You are the former and soon to be dead Imperial leader. I see you have made a deal that goes against the treaties of the first treaties and have been declared heretics and as the Lord of Purgatory, I sentence all ships who oppose me as ex auctoritate Purgatorii, ad mortem vos damno.”
“By your authority, as Lord of Purgatory, he condemned them to death. Such a poetic verse.” Ana said over the speaker.
“I daresay, I think we shall enjoy following you, my Lord.” Melissa added.
Ana was the Angelic seraph of Purgatory, second only to those in Heaven while Melissa was the Demonic Seraph of Purgatory, second only to those in Hell. Jonas figured they knew a lot more about this war then they let on as when they deemed to give him advice, though vague, it was always on point. Chuckling to himself, he gave a mental command to Abigail and Sakura to go full speed ahead, firing when in range.
Anders and Connors got the troops ready, running to the hangars as they were given orders to board any ships that were disabled and take them over. The Angels and Demons, who were relegating to just flying support fighters and troop transports had been designated to attackers, going after enemy fighters when time allowed. They would not board them as Purgatory’s technology was second only to Heaven and Hell, and even then it was barely as they intervened when the two sides got a bit too feisty.
Pulling ahead, the Crimson Flame pulled ahead of the pitch black ships commanded by Melissa and the pure white ships commanded by Ana and aimed straight for the imperial fleet. Runes began to light up on the hull and guns of the ship as they began to take fire, returning shot for shot as they approached. Jonas scowled as he noticed runes from the other realms light up on the other ships, but they did little as his ship blasted through whatever protection they had.
Earth, now Terran Prime, became exposed to magic at the end of the Eldaran civil war six thousand years ago, which the now defunct Imperial Family took advantage of and united the planet, pushing their advancements in technology at a speed not foreseen until then. At first, as he was told by the exiled princess Aelorian Silverleaf, it was a rather peaceful time. She along with those who fled with her as exiles for being neutral and wanting to keep true to the Crystal Court and Seline, eventually found Jonas at the time he was announced as the future Lord of Purgatory.
They didn’t participate in the civil war that had been ravaging the Terran Empire for the past twenty years, they had given aid in the form of medicine and food, along with teaching them about magic. They’re education was what had kept them in the lead, though barely as they had suffered significant loss of life. They had all quickly learned of Jonas and his appointment to Lord of Purgatory, only a small group had pledged themselves to him and the realm. It really didn’t bother him as Purgatory was only a gateway to either Heaven of Hell, but it was quickly learned that the souls who decided and were allowed to stay had formed businesses, joined the Soul Corps and aided in other ways. It was quite the sight to see but Jonas wasn’t thinking of that.
As his ship got closer, the bigger guns began to fire, disabling many ships, though a few had been destroyed as they self destructed. Jonas hated that, they had tried to spread that all who were captured would be treated fairly in the new Republic courts, broadcasting any and all hearings across the galaxy, proving their words weren’t just propaganda unlike the Empire. It didn’t seem to matter, they were seen as traitors and heathens for following a false god. Jonas never said he could save anyone as it was not the jurisdiction of Purgatory, but they didn’t seem to care.
The ship rocked as a ship under Tiamat fired upon them marring the side with a large gash. Melissa returned fire, vaporizing the ship instantly. Those who served a realm never died, they were only resurrected in their own realm again, though it did take time. As the battle got hotter, Anders and Connors came to the bridge, standing along the edge of the pit as they watched the holographic battle map before them.
The other realms were trying to separate his ship from the rest, aiming for the troop transports but were being kept at bay by Ana and Melissa. When one got to close, Ana fired her main gun, vaporizing one of Odin’s ships and moved forward to protect the transports as they boarded the remaining disabled ships. It was getting to the point that all guns were being used, both sides rocking each other with their main guns, and when all mortals had left the Crimson Flame except for the bridge, all power was cut from non essential areas, only providing life support to the bridge.
When all the boarding parties had arrived to their ships and began the take over of each, Jonas became enraged when all of the boarded ships self destructed, killing all of their own people along with his. The declaration he gave was for the Emperor but now, with the few ships remaining, he made the decision to kill them all. Pouring all available power to the engines, shields and guns, he pushed forward as Ana and Melissa flanked him.
“Everyone.” Jonas qued on the comms to all ships. “Delete everything in my space.”
With that, every ship under Ana and Melissa began to fire at full power, vaporizing any ship left in his way. Closing his eyes, he sighed, not wanting to give in to want and destruction, but they had forced his hand and he despised it. Looking back up, the only ship he saw left was the one that held the last line of the despot family.
Jonas once loved the empire, followed orders, marched in to battle, and had thought the empire he loved was respectable. They helped save people, bring them up and show them what kindness was, He helped feed the poor, saved the innocent, killed despots and traitors. It was a humble path he took, as many of the worlds prospered under Imperial rule, even the Shedashi thrived as an independent state with the aid of the Empire.
The night after Aphrael and Felal came to him changed the views he had. His fleet had arrived in the Caldonia system and were en-route to Caldonia Three to aid in an uprising when the responded to a distress call. Upon arriving, they saw a cargo ship with distress lights flashing and when Jonas boarded with security and repair teams, his stomach fell at the sight. On board the Imperial ship were slaves and a dead crew, and when they investigated, Abigail and Sakura interrogated the system and found some hidden and encrypted files. As the files were not standard Imperial files, they broke in and what they saw appalled him.
The slaves belonged to the Empire and were being smuggled out of system, to be sold to a fence and then would return for more. The ship had engine failure, which the slaves took advantage of and slaughtered them, breaking the faulty slave collars in the process. Jonas didn’t want to believe it, but after they found more files along with transcripts and hidden communications lines, he decided to track it down.
When he informed Elizabeth and Kimberly through a new encrypted program Purgatory had, they spent the next eighty years decrypting transmissions, files and everything found. After digging and getting hold of the lines, they took their time, bringing planets and other fleets that were devoted to him or otherwise were loyal, they gathered forces and made plans for a formal complaint and court marshal of the family along with associates only to be told that they should stand down and turn themselves over.
Knowing that would happen, they declared open rebellion along with half the empire siding with Jonas. For twenty years the civil war raged on, causing hundreds of billions of lives and devastating worlds on both side. It was a galaxy wide bloodshed, one that culminated to this point, one that he did not wish to happen, but knew it had too. The Terran Imperial Empire was complicit in slavery, attempted genocide, and mass murder among other things. Crimes that Jonas, his family, and so many others aided, but when they learned the truth, all had covertly subverted until the war broke out.
Now, Jonas was there among a fleet of destroyed ships, those he considered friends, with only his ship and the Imperial Capital ship being left alone. The Purgatory fleet backed away, not being allowed to interfere with galactic events beyond what they had already done. As his ship neared, the Imperial ship fired its main cannons, rocking his ship but the shields stayed up as he flew in closer to get the optimum kill shot. When a new alert came up, he paled as two new trans-warp portals opened, with the capital ships of both Freya and Hades appeared.
They appeared between him and the Imperial ship and quickly flanked him, firing every canon they had at point blank range, rocking his ship hard and nearly disabled it. When Ana and Melissa quickly changed course to intercept, the two opened new portals and left, leaving his ship nearly crippled as fires sprang up across the ship. When the imperial ship fired again, his ship rocked again, the bridge a fiery mess and continued to fire. With a single thought, Jonas poured everything to the forward shields and engines, intending to ram the other.
Manual override acknowledged. Ramming speed engaged.
Looking forward, the five on the bridge saluted as they were pounded with shot after shot, accepting their fates. They were destined for Purgatory, and though no one knew how they would die, they knew their ending, accepting it with military honors.
“It was good serving you, my Lord.” Anders said.
“Thanks for the fun, my Lord.” Connors added.
“See you on the flip side, old man.” Abigail aid, winking.
“May the party continue.” Sakura added, a sad smile on her face.
“See you shortly.” Jonas told them, though he held back tears.
As they flew at ramming speed, Ana and Melissa brought their own ships beside his, escorting him in one final battle. The Imperial ship kept firing as comms crackled, the Emperor screaming to end this madness and that he would go peacefully as his ship continued flying. Jonas didn’t care, he gave his edict and he was going to follow through and the execution, his thoughts going to his family.
All the birthdays his kids had but he missed. The home made meals Kimberly and Elizabeth had made when he was home. The times he had with them, the laughter, the crying, the celebrations of when they all got promoted, when Chelsea and Yuki got accepted into the academy. The celebration they all had when the two passed with flying colors, being assigned to the mothers ships to learn. He wished he had more time for them, but that was in the past, his future as the Lord of Purgatory, a position once held by Azrael.
The Angel of Death who had been stripped of his title and made into the angel of death after the wars due to his bringing some of the realms under Purgatory. He knew why, the realms were going to become vassals of either Heaven and Hell though he opposed it, but now, Jonas was going to become the Lord and he had some plans of his own.
As his ship approached, the Emperor was screaming, calling him names and slurs, the hate in his heart for having his family stripped of everything evident. It made Jonas smile as he had made a deal with Hell to send him to the most inner parts of the realm to become a toy for Lucifer. It was cruel, but there was no other punishment better suited for the misery that he and his family had inflicted.
As they were only a couple kilometers away, they heard a gun shot, then the emperor fell silent, either to his own hand or someone else, who knew, but that didn’t matter, he was going to die regardless. When they ships finally collided, the sound of metal tearing could be heard even in the bridge, situated towards the middle of the ship. With a smile on his face, Jonas died as the ships exploded, debris being tossed all over as the war finally ended.
War, the last card for any intelligent soldier or politician, as it was the one thing any sane person hated to use. It was an extension of politics, and should always be the last resort for anyone, with only fools using it early thus causing far reaching effects that no one should needlessly endure. It was something an Admiral had stated after the attack on Pearl Harbor, one that brought a then neutral United States of America into a war and thus ended a war that could have easily gone one for far longer.
As Jonas floated in darkness, he looked around, and saw Abigail and Sakura floating there with him, which really didn’t shock him as much as the darkness had. Shrugging, he floated there for what felt like an eternity, going through his memories, the training he received. His friendship with the exiled princess Aelorian, the fun times he had with her both in the bed and out of it. His wives happily accepted her, along with a select few others, knowing that Eldaran had a more relaxed view on sex.
She was accepting of there only being a few extras in the bedroom due to their up bringing and said that Eldaran were much the same, though still more relaxed. Her father, the king, had many concubines alongside the few wives he had, though only one was recognized as queen. Her mother was the queen herself, and she had a five brothers in line for the crown when the civil war started, but had been killed off until one was left.
Her father sided with Oberon as her mother sided with Idril, and when they heard of her being neutral, they exiled her and it was one of the rare times they agreed on something after it ended. Aelorian was loyal to the Crystal Court, and when she found that they were under the protection of Purgatory, she hid, waiting out her life. When news hit that he was made Lord, she came to him immediately and followed him everywhere, and when she found out he had no problem with her being a hermaphrodite, welcoming her into Purgatory when it was her time, she became a devout follower.
Her, along with his wives, had all become devout followers, submitting to him and serving him in any way they could. The nights they shared were amazing as the three wholeheartedly put him in a position of dominance, which was honestly quite nice as being the Grand Imperial General, he was use to being dominate. Being as dominate as he was helped him keep billions of soldiers in line, something very few people ever had the heart or mindset to do.
When Jonas closed his eyes again, he felt himself fall for a second then hit the ground, making him open his eyes to blue skies and wind across his skin. Scrunching his face, he felt his body and when everything moved, he sat up and looked around. Seeing Abigail and Sakura sit up as well, both in their normal forms, he looked around more, seeing trees, grass, and a river only a few meters away. This was not Purgatory as the Heavenly side as he would recognize it. The side that Hell was one was dark and dreary, with death and desolation everywhere. The Gray Quarter, where he would reside, was vibrant with a mix of the two, though was neutral ground for the realm. Then, his eyes went wide when he saw a notification.

Jonas blinked at that as he swiped it away, then looked down as saw he was nude. And when he looked over to Abigail and Sakura, he noticed they were nude as well. They smirked when they noticed him and winked.
“Like what you see, my Lord?” Abigail said, turning slowly.
“I think he does.” Sakura added as she floated, looking down to his erection.
Sakura then zoned out and smiled, transformed into a normal form, he strawberry blonde hair flowing down her back. When he looked to Abigail, her shoulder length black hair fit her Japanese body far to well, and both had rather nice sized breasts.
Shaking his head as he chuckled, he looked at the ring on his finger and a popup appeared, showing him a variety of clothing, food, weapons and camping supplies. After a few seconds, he felt something around his shaft and when he closed it, he saw Abigail and Sakura both on their knees, stroking his rather large cock, eyes wide.
“You’re, massive.” Abigail said as she looked up.
“Bigger than ever.” Sakura added.
Their hands didn’t even cover half his width as they stroked him, and when Abigail smirked, she moved a little, putting the tip in her mouth. As he put his hand on her head, the action being all to natural, they heard screams coming from a ways off, making them look over. They immediately looked at their inventories and put on the battle gear inside, and ran off.
He had a chain in one hand and a great sword in the other with black armor that had crimson scripts over it. Abigail had what appeared to be a staff with two plasma blades on the end and a seam down the middle. She had on a skin tight battle suit with lines that had a light streaming down them. Sakura had on a skirt and chest plate with duel blades in her hands. He wanted to investigate the armor and weapons more, but now was not the time.
They ran through the woods for a couple minutes then came across a field where they saw four women running. A redhead on a black horse in black skin tight jeans and skin tight top was riding hard and fast, pale skin with freckles could be clearly seen. A woman with hair to her ears, deep purple skin with what appeared to be stars on it rode a deep purple horse in a skirt and halter top. A woman in white skin tight jeans and top with skin paler than the redhead rode a white horse. Lastly, the woman in front had short hair with what appeared to be clothes from a workshop, and far shorter than the rest rode a smaller light brown horse, complimenting her tan skin.
Their eyes went wide at the appearance of Jonas, Abigail and Sakura, but the three didn’t pay attention as they jumped over them, using a jump skill they all had. When they landed and continued running, they saw forty men in front of them in much of the same mix as the girls behind them. When they screamed to stop in the name of the Human, Elven, Fae and Gnome empires, Jonas scoffed.
“Well, we’re not in Purgatory.” Abigail called out.
“Duh.” Sakura replied, rolling her eyes.
“One galactic empire down, whats four more?” Jonas added, smiling.
By engaging you will become fugitives of the Human, Elf, Fae, and Gnome Empires.
You’re Lord status will nullify any consequences for you and your High Priestesses.
The voice said, which was oddly feminine as he charged forward, but ignored it, smiling as he went over the second part. Sakura smiled wickedly as she put her hand out as drones went out from under her skirt, then exploded around the force, making them stop. Jonas looked over then used his cybernetic processors to quickly look up skills and smiled as he jumped forward with his sword and chain.
Great sword of Abyssal Flame.
Skill used, Flamebrand Execution.
Then an arc of flame swept forward, killing many while the others scattered. Abigail leapt forward, chasing the others down, cutting them in half before they got far. They regrouped, smiling though when they looked back to the dead soldiers, Jonas shook his head.
“End one war, then come to, where ever this is.” He said, gesturing.
“This is Callista, my Lord.” The female in white said as she trotted up on her horse.
The four women slowly trotted up, and stopped a few meters away, keeping what was presumed to be a safe distance. Looking at them, notifications came up for each, making him raise an eyebrow at them and the answer he got.
Race: Human.
Name: Ashley Beckinsale.
Class: Necromancer.
Position: Exiled Royal.
Race: High Elf.
Name. Y’solde Whiteleaf
Class: Healer
Position: Exiled Royal
Race: Fae.
Name: Gwen Vaelith
Class: Mage.
Position: Exiled Royal.
Race: Gnome
Name: Delle Bronzehammer
Class: Artificer
Position: Exiled Royal
Jonas blinked at that and when he pushed it away, he saw all four on the ground, kneeling before him. Abigail and Sakura looked confused, and when Jonas sighed, he shook his head, gesturing.
“You may rise.” Though when they didn’t move, he sighed again. “Please rise, kind of hard to talk when you’re looking at the ground.”
“It is only right we kneel before you, a god.” Y’solde said, still kneeling. “We may not know who you are, as we do not know of this, Purgatory, but it is what we are taught.”
“Just get up.” Jonas said as he walked to them. “There’s a few things we need to talk about and I, for one, need a shower.”
The four glanced to the side and slowly got up. Shaking his head he walked into the field and touched his ring, then his eyes bulged out as a camp site with a big tent, tables, chairs, a big fire and spot to keep the horses appeared. Abigail and Sakura stood beside him, both gawking at the scene before them as it appeared, then smiled.
“Do you know how much the Republic would pay for this?” Abigail asked, a smile coming to her face.
“Geese Louise, imagine the battles on all those planets that could have gone so much better with this.” Sakura added, slowly stepping into the campsite.
“Battles?” Delle said, looking at him with some confusion.
“Wait, planets?” Gwen said, her eyes going wide.
“You battled on other planets?” Ashley asked, a bit of awe in her look.
“Long story.” Jonas said when he turned to them. “First, the three of us need showers. Ramming a capital ship into another only to land here without a shower leaves one a bit smelly.” He told them, only now smelling his body odor.
Stepping into the campsite, he followed Abigail and Sakura into the tent while the four exiled royals put their horses up and moved to the dead soldiers. Shrugging, he stepped in, figuring there was going to be a lot to talk about such as what this system was and how he was going to tell them his story.
Elowin. Orvaster
As Elowin sat there behind her screen with Raelin, Tasha and Leaf sitting on the couch making small talk, she just watched a latest video from the show she liked. It was about a man who had grown up as a peasant but was on the way to becoming a big hero in the Human Empire. It was one of those romantic shows she loved and though only a very small part of each of the four empires along with the beastkin and demi humans had taken to Eldaran technology, the planet had long since slid back to a more medieval society.
The civil war had long past, six thousand years now, but the planet due to her bastard father had been cut ff from everyone due to some deal he made with the minor gods, including Idril and Oberon. She, along with her sister Vaelina and her mother Alaris had taken a stance of neutrality in the war along with their exiled princess Aelorian, but everything was at a stalemate on the planet. For now any ways. She hated it but there was nothing she could do until the planet was freed somehow.
The system had been a plan to subjugate the population, grow them into strong soldiers so the minor gods could finally use them as their personal army, but it had eventually backfired. The societies had all but abandoned the Eldaran, leaving everything in shambles and her father long forgotten and missing, until some two centuries ago when he appeared with four necromancers, a nephilim and one of those creatures. Void was what they were called, a group of beings that she had no idea as to what they were, but they were powerful.
When she finished her show, she brought the system up on her computer, and after a few taps of the keyboard, her eyes bulged. There were several new notifications, but three had actually surprised her. The system had been getting attacked for the past couple centuries but it seemed to be mostly passive attacks but the past year it had gotten excessively aggressive. It started when the battle above the planet happened, and though she knew no one could get down, it piqued her interest as it seemed to be the tail end of a rather aggressive civil war within the Terran Empire. The satellites above the planet were hidden in subspace and had the same mana used on the planet that made it rather penetrable by anyone, but they allowed her to see things around the planet, unable to connect to anything else.
The three notifications stating that the Lord of Purgatory had arrived along with two of his High Priestesses and had been given a ring each. It didn’t state what the rings were, but when she looked up where they arrived, she stiffened as a man and two women engaged forty men, slaughtering them in seconds to save the four exiled royals she had been hoping to meet. When she looked at the position, they were not far from a manor on the outskirts of her cities boundaries, one she had been trying to close down for some time but couldn’t due to the laws her father made soon after the war ended.
The one who owned it now was a known slaver, having fourteen maids along with one hundred and fifty soldiers, all registered to him. The other three had gone quiet, but she ignored them as she sat back looking. Elowin had no clue if the attack on the system AI, the battle above the planet and the new arrivals were connected, but she figured that answers would come in time. Being seven thousand years old taught one a lot about patience, and had plenty of it.
Looking into the three and their titles, skills, and abilities, her eyebrows shot up, then she smiled. Apparently the attacker or attackers had gotten into the system enough to grant them everything they would currently need to be in the world, and when she saw the system slowly be changed, her smile grew more. Apparently, the realm of Purgatory was making moves, though slowly, but moves none the less, and she dared to hope that the Lord of Purgatory and his realm could free them.
The mana of the planet had been able to block out Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory, and none had bothered to push hard, until now, which made her giddy inside. Maybe she could finally see her sister again as they had been separated so their father could not kill the two of them in one strike, and would not bother attacking Elyndor as it was the stronghold for Eldaran and had isolated itself after they won their revolt and became neutral. The isolation was to keep any influence from Nhar’Vallin to get in, and did not want to upset the Angel’s and Demon’s stationed by Heaven and Hell on Val’theron. It had always confused her as to why the two most powerful realms didn’t smite the planet or at least rescue them, but now with this Lord of Purgatory, Jonas Kimke, she had some new theories.
Closing the tabs, she got up and brought the three with her to go eat. It was lunch time and she was hungry. Though now, she had something to think about and bring up with her three retainers.
Purgatory
Ana and Melissa witnessed Jonas ram his ship into the Imperial one, and were excited beyond belief to get their Lord finally. The restrictions upon them would be lifted, and they could finally bring these pesky minor gods to heel under their boots. When they received the message, their eyes were gleaming and they were ready to return home and begin preparations, but their moods were sullied upon hearing the news.
Jonas, had gone missing. The two Seraphs had gone ballistic, ready to bombard any planet, including the one thy were above in total retaliation as this was one of many planets like it, one where the idiot gods had tried to use for their stupid plans. The realm had busted the rest, leaving only this one and a couple others in this galaxy to subdue, but the other two were going to be broken soon, leaving only this one. Cortana quickly confirmed that he was not on those, leaving only this one, making them become more irate and irrational. They had almost destroyed the two fleets, both lead by Elizabeth and Kimberly, but had managed to leave them, slipping into subspace to avoid issues.
The satellites they saw above the planet in the same subspace had been taken over by Cortana not to long ago, giving her time to work on the planet. It was some spaghetti code AI that had been put together, though due to the various realms using their own code, it was a hot mess. The little they had gotten thus far was that it was similar to the one the realm used, though a lot more basic and watered down. That was likely due to the realms and Eldaran wanting to use the people on the planet as foot soldiers in whatever wars they were planning, but all had backfired.
Their eyes went wide when they heard about the Void, necromancy and the nephilim, but Cortana kept them from destroying it as it would be the likely planet for him to reform on. With that, they had eventually gone back to Purgatory, though two more fleets of the regular military come in and relieved them to plan their assault. It was tough to break through into a realm without having portal gates already established in those locations within a realm, but it could be done. Heaven, Hell and Purgatory could do it, but if there was no real reason to, they didn’t. What caught them off guard was Heaven and Hell had three million each already on the planet, some continent named Val’theron, but even with the gates, the two realms said they had not tried to, and as they were told, they knew this would happen, but had left them for Jonas.
It was really irritating dealing with them, but when they finally got Jonas, that would end ans they would be brought in the loop fully. Right now though, they had to plan and get prepped for a forced incursion to the planet, and had decided to keep it small. A couple hundred thousand troops armed with the latest tech and armor should do the trick, given they had three million Angel’s and three million Demon’s to incorporate into their ranks.
Those o n the planets were not first born like Ana and Melissa were, the two were the first of Heaven and Hell along with their troops. A lot of others who had defected during and right after the realm, all being turned Angel and Demon were as well, all exceedingly more powerful than the rest. The only reason any of them were in Purgatory was simple, they were the first, and this was their penance until the end of time, and though they were scorned by it, they all came to enjoy the freedoms the realm had given therm.
Their loyalty to the realm, and now Jonas was unbreakable, and their love for him was unrestricted. He had boned the two Seraphs and several others, the level of the bond was of the highest tier. The two strongest bonds was that given to them by a blessing from Jonas which was strong, but still a bit weaker than the other bond. The strongest bond was made through sex, submitting wholly and entirely to him and giving him your mind, body and soul. The bond could not be broken in all but one circumstance, and was only reinforced through the collar they all wore.
The collar was not slavery, as either party could break it, but the runes tied them to a master, and when combined with the bond, made the two inseparable. The bond itself, like the collar, could only be broken if one decided to break it, but it was painful for both, hence why so few made it.
Thinking about it made Ana and Melissa wet and giddy, they were returning to their master and lord, the man they served with such ferocity, they almost took out that damned Emperor themselves so he could live. The only reason they didn’t was to allow him the closure he would need when he ascended, but now, he would have to deal with more.
When the news came that morning about him appearing on the planet, they smiled and got dressed, putting on their uniforms and assembled the troops. The uniforms were a mix between Earth’s two world wars, and they all liked it, though they had made some, adjustments, for when he visited and they didn’t want to put them in their storage rings. In mortal terms, they knew it was a fetish to wear the sullied clothes after he got done with them, but it was a fetish the two along with the two Angel’s and two Demon’s he seemed to favor, and they enjoyed it.
As they prepped, they waited in the massive portal room, ready to go. When the Angel’s Aphrael and Lela showed up with their Demonic counterparts, Felal and Zazel, they stood there, ready to fight. This would be the chance to show Jonas along with the other realms why they were not trash to be discarded, but respected soldiers.
Jonas
When Jonas walked in, he looked around and saw Abigail and Sakura standing there, then looked to see a hologram of Cortana there, smiling. This weird experience had just become something totally different, and hopefully he could get some information.
“Hello, my Lord.” Cortana greeted him as she bowed slightly. “First, no, this is not Purgatory, as you might have guessed.”
He nodded and approached her then sat in a chair at a table. The inside was insanely big, and that was an understatement. The outside was rather large, but the inside was massive all thanks to spacial magic. It looked like the inside of a small manor on Terran Prime, which had multiple bedrooms, two massive kitchens, a collective bathing room with smaller ones and a massive living room with smaller ones for guests and parties. Jonas was, for lack of a better term, impressed at it, and to see Cortana here as he planet had been cut off due to the mana forcing it to be isolated as no one could enter.
“To be blunt, you three died a year ago.” Cortana said next, shocking Jonas but he let her continue, knowing she would explain. “The minor gods had made a deal with a group of Eldaran, or specifically, the ones on this planet, just over six thousand years ago. Their hopes were to use the population here as soldiers to restart the war, but somewhere along the lines, the people revolted and plans were abandoned. They have, as you can see, fallen back a long ways in technology, though the Eldaran are still here, but they started the revolt on their continent, Elyndor, and then when the people here on Nhar’Vallin saw they had lost support, revolted against those in control, forcing them into hiding.”
“I’m guessing something happened otherwise we wouldn’t be here.” Jonas said, letting out a sigh.
“Yes.” Cortana answered, and continued. “Apparently, the four empires here, the ones of the exiled royals outside, had been contacted by a man name Eldirin. He was the planets ruler when everything fell apart, but now that he made a deal with the Void, he approached the rulers of each, turning them ally again.”
Jonas pinched the bridge of his nose, knowing the various stories that went along this line all too well. Man falls from power, sits back and plans, only to come back stronger. It was the reason that he had to kill the last emperor, no one wanted him or anyone along his line to come back, stronger and better.
“That’s, not all.” Cortana said, visibly gulping, which worried Jonas. “The four have also started using dark mana in the form of necromancy with the help of the Void, and a nephilim.”
Jonas was not liking this but kept quiet as Cortana went on.
“Then there is you.” She said, and for once, the AI of Purgatory looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there. “I have gotten control of the base functions of the system and was able to gran the three of you titles, give you items, and have begun working on new titles, skills, passives, etc. Unfortunately, you are only a demi god right now.”
“I am killing them.” Jonas said, making the three looked shocked. “They violated so many treaties just on this planet I’m tempted to send the entirety of Purgatory to destroy their realms and hunt them down through the universe.”
“Heaven and Hell, who have been made aware, are more than happy to back you in this, but will not move until you give the word.” Cortana told him.
“First, I claim this planet, as my right as a god.” Jonas said, standing, but was interrupted before he could speak.
“Sorry for the intrusion, my Lord.” Gwen said, bowing deeply. “We looted the bodies and found some .. nice .. loot.” She said as she saw Cortana.
Y’solde bumped into her, forcing her to move, then stopped and gawked as Ashley bumped into her, forcing her to move over, only to then be bumped by Delle. The four looked in amazement, not knowing what to think or say. After about five seconds, Jonas sighed and chuckled, gesturing to Cortana as he looked to the four royals.
“Ladies, I would like you to meet Cortana, or well, the hologram of her.” Making them open and close their mouths a few times before bowing.
“Nice to meet you, lady Cortana.” Gwen replied as she straightened and looked to Jonas. “I guess we came in at a bad moment.”
“No, it’s OK.” Cortana replied, bowing slowly. “The four of you should be included in on this as you made his acquaintance.”
“Ah, yes.” Y’solde said, smiling softly though Jonas could tell she was tense. “Should we sit or … “ Looking a bit out of place.
“Please, have a seat.” Jonas said with a sigh as he turned to Cortana. “As I was saying, I plan on making this world mine. After I, handle, the minor gods, we will discuss how we should proceed.”
“As you wish, my Lord.:” Cortana answered as she bowed her head. “Should I relay to Heaven and Hell to hold on invading their realms until further plans can be made?”
“Please do.” Then looked to the girls as they sat. “After I have a discussion with these young ladies, I should have a better understanding as to what is going on and can hopefully make a better plan. Is there anything I should do?”
The girls tensed a bit, looking a bit clueless as to the situation, but once they talked, he hoped they would have a better idea of everything. He hoped it wasn’t as dire as he was thinking, but as he learned, keep the bar on the ground in situations such as this to keep his mind and options open. Plans always fell apart upon contact but if done well, deaths could be minimized.
“Yes, there is a manor nearby. Lady Elowin has been trying to force him out, but according to laws, well, it is impossible without killing him outright and taking over any and all property.” Cortana said, then tensed. “You should know, slavery is legal here and the laws were written as such to make it extremely hard to repeal or use later laws to make it moot. He owns fourteen slaves as maids and one hundred and fifty soldiers as slaves, and he has affiliations with the churches of the minor gods.
Being a known slaver has put him good standing with the empires of this continent making it impossible for Elowin, who has declared herself neutral along with her mother, Guild Master Alaris and her sister, General Vaelina on the Eldaran continent of Elyndor. The laws are written in a way though, as I said, that killing him would give the killer his property but no one has succeeded as of yet, and Elowin cannot move due to the relations with her city, Orvaster, being neutral, thus, forcing her to keep still and allow slavery.”
“Worst situation to be in.” Ashley said, scoffing. “I know a bit about her position and situation but it’s unjust.”
“We’ll take care of it.” Jonas told her, smiling.
“Wait about five minutes, my Lord.” Cortana told him, a wry smile on her face. “Ana and Melissa are ready and should be able to force portals through by then.”
The four women’s eyes went wide as Jonas smiled wickedly. This horrid day just got mildly better, not only was he going to get some information, Jonas was going to get a small army to back him up. Granted he could just take the planet now, but that would cost too many lives, having the two Seraphs there, along with eventually having the Black Guard eventually was going to turn the tide really fast. Plus having the Angel’s and demon;s on that other continent was going to give him a major boost.
With a nod, Cortana bowed then in a mist, left, leaving only a holo stand in her place. Looking to Abigail and Sakura, he motioned for them to sit, though he would have to forfeit his shower currently, waiting for Ana and Melissa was the better choice. The two gave him a look and he knew they still had the same idea they had only minutes earlier but were willing to wait as well, knowing that it would be worth it.
Going back to his ring, he brought out some food that Cortana had left, then noticed a message in his HUD. Reading it as he ate, Cortana had gotten into the system like she said, and had started working on getting full access, and would be making improvements on it as she went along. She recommended bonding with Abigail and Sakura as soon as possible, saying that with them being his High Priestesses, they could start his church, and though he didn’t need one, the system awarded points as it grew, allowing him to improve a variety of things such as crop harvest, animal husbandry, crafting, and other boons for followers.
It was quite interesting, when it got close to the five minute mark, he dusted his hands from the sandwich as he stood with Abigail and Sakura following suit. The four royals had been picky at first, not knowing what a sandwich was, but when they began they had savored each bite. Jonas shook his head at that, realizing it had not been invented yet on this planet, and he knew then that there was going to be a lot of changes going forward.
Walking out, he stood on the porch, waiting. After about ten seconds he felt the mana bend and twist, pushing back against the forced entry and when the portals opened, the four royals had opened the door to come outside with him. They stood there, mouths opened as tens of thousands of Angel’s and demons marched forward, followed by tanks, mechs and jets, all ready to come to his aid. Ana and Melissa walked to him and knelt, Aphrael, Felal, Lela and Zazel behind them.
“We have arrived, my Lord.” Ana said, head down.
“We apologize for our transgression of not rescuing you a year ago, my Lord.” Melissa followed, head low.
“No worries.” He told them, a smile on his face. “Apparently, the minor gods have been busy being naughty and we need to aid them in realizing the mistake of taking me.”
They stood as their troops surrounded the campsite, taking positions to guard him. Jonas approached them and hugged them liking their skirts and stockings, making sure to squeeze their asses when he did so. They each moaned as Jonas chuckled at it then stood before the six with Abigail and Sakura behind him and gave them folders to keep a low profile as they guarded the place as he had business to attend too.
When they looked at the four royals with their mouths open, he also told them that they were to not be harmed as they would come in handy. He didn’t know what they had to say as of yet, but something told him that they were exiled for similar reasons he had to rebel against the empire. Turning around to walk inside, he stopped in front of them to hopefully ease their minds.
“They won’t hurt you.” Jonas told them. “If they do something you do not like, let me know, I’ll punish them later.” Then turned his head to wink at the six walking to them.
As he went inside with Abigail and Sakura, he heard them start talking to the four women, trying to make them feel at ease. They made their way to the shower, knowing that this shower was going to be a bit longer than his normal ones and when he stepped inside, he smiled.
The shower was rather large, and when he saw a control panel beside the entrance, he touched it to light it up. Looking at the options, he saw controls ranging from cold to hot, ones to make mist, rain, Cortana had gone overboard on the interior. The room felt of pure magic, making him feel at ease.
The walls had illusion magic on them showing trees and animals of Callista. When he looked down, the floor was showing ground, the feeling of the grass feeling soft and gentle on his bare feet. The ceiling was a partly clouded sky, and as he looked up, he closed his eyes feeling the sun and breeze along his skin.
When he opened his eyes, he looked to Abigail and Sakura as they showered in the rain, their bodies glistening. As he approached them be brought out two collars and placed it on them. They smiled as they moved their hair to allow him to connect them behind their necks.
Collar of Purgatory.
The one who wears this submits to the one that places it on them, turning the two sides into one in mind, body and soul.
When it was done, the rune glowed brightly then slowly faded. He could feel the bond become whole, a chain snapping into place. The two giggled as they began to shower, hands moving over their bodies. He stopped them and smiled, and when Jonas began to bathe Abigail, Sakura joined in, the two slowly washed her. When they rinsed her, Abigail and Jonas turned to Sakura and slowly bathed her in her adult form. It was part of being bonded and how Purgatory worked. It was a system of servitude to each other, reinforcing the bond they had. It was what kept it from being a slave / master bond and if it was not fulfilled frequently enough, it would break.
When it was time for Jonas to be bathed, the two gently took care of him, insuring they kept from causing him too much pain around his more sensitive scars. He could have had them healed fully, but Jonas had always protested it, wanting the reminders of those he saved along with those he lost. The ones on his heart could never truly be healed, so he left the physical ones as an added reminder. When they finished, Jonas turned the shower off and took the oils off the shelf.
The three oiled each other, the scent of lavender and ash just heavy enough to be smelled. It was the scent of Purgatory, the lavender being that of the holy landscape for those meant for Heaven as the ash being that of the hellish side, meant for those bound for an eternity in Hell. The three along with any mortals he brought into his circle used both in their oils, telling others of their loyalty to the realm and its protection.
When they did finish, he turned the water off and dried them as they did the same too him, but before they could get to the oils, they heard an argument began to heat up outside the door. Getting dressed they walked out to see the four royals arguing with a beastkin, demi human, sprite, dryad and nymph. The beastkin, demi human and nymph were all his size but the sprite and dryad were the size of Sakura in her doll form.
“They need to go!” The sprite yelled, pointing to Ana and Melissa who were leaning against a wall looking bored.
“They need to go now!” The beastkin demanded, pointing to the two as well.
“Who needs to go where and why?” Jonas asked as he stepped between the four royals and the four guests.
They were all female, but Jonas ignored that as he looked at the newcomers, crossing his arms behind his back. Nothing really scared him except God and Lucifer, but since he is the Lord of Purgatory and they needed him, they weren’t terribly scary. The Dryad got in his face and jabbed his chest, scowling.
“You and this filth from Val’theron need to leave!” She screamed as she bored her teeth.
“We told them.” Ana told him shrugging.
“Apparently those ears have too much dirt in them.” Melissa added, scowling at the Dryad.
When the Dryad looked to her and began to fly to her, Jonas, who had been keeping his mana under a tight lock, not allowing anyone to feel it, released it. Abigail did the same as Sakura transformed back to her doll form did as well, making all besides Ana and Melissa choke and fall down, gagging as they tried to breathe.. Ana and Melissa took the que and did as well, all five letting their mana loose, making the air dense and thick with mana as it turned a crimson color. The Dryad fell mid flight, landing at Ana’s feet while the Sprite was flung to Melissa’s feet. The rest got to their hands and knees, spit coming from their mouths as they tried to breathe between choking.
“You were saying?” Jonas asked as they all took their mana back under control, allowing them to breathe,
As they slowly got up, catching their breath, they looked at Jonas with wide eyes, and when understanding finally dawned on them, they quickly returned to their knees, heads low in reverence. Nobody spoke for several seconds, fearing that any sound, even the sound of their breathing would cause his ire, so Jonas broke the silence.
“I died, apparently a year ago, above this planet to end a reign of galactic terror. Now I find myself here, being asked, no, demanded, to leave. I do not know why I am here, or how to fix it, but do know, that if anyone desires it, I will leave the second a solution can be found.” He looked around to the bowing group, a stern look on his face. “Now obviously, there are issues going on as I saved four exiled royals being hunted by their soldiers, and now we have four entering my home, though temporary, and demanding I leave. I can, if you desire, stay to help you with whatever is happening. This will be asked only once, and I do not need details now, but do you need help?”
Silence fell again, making Jonas wonder if they were really that inept. After waiting for a minute, he sighed and looked at his wrist, forgetting he never put a watch on. Taking one out of his inventory, he realized he should thank Cortana for thinking of such things and put it on then looked at it.
“Well, since no one wishes for my help.” He started but Y’solde spoke up.
“No, please! We need you’re help!” She pleaded, looking up slightly as he turned to face her. “Something is wrong, the four of us were exiled because we began to look into it!”
“We prayed to the gods but they do not listen to us!” Gwen added, almost crying. “We read what we could! Offered prayers and offerings but nothing!”
Jonas turned to look at her, sobbing now, but then he heard the Dryad speak up, though what she had to say was a bit different.
“They abandoned us!” She replied, scowling at Gwen then to Jonas. “All because they gods locked them up!”
Jonas knew that was not the truth, but he understood how they could see it that way. Their gods had not been locked up, but had been severely weakened during the first wars and again, due to Azrael protecting them under the banner of Purgatory, he lost his job. Jonas looked around, and thought for a second, but decided to tell them the truth, so far as they would understand it.
“They are not locked up.” He started, making the four guests scowl more. “Purgatory has been protecting them. There was a war long before this planet saw life and my predecessor lost his job due to it. Though now that I am here, I will do my best to get them back to their former glory, but it may take time.” Centuries more like it he thought but he wasn’t lying.
“Liar!” The Sprite said, launching herself at him only to be knocked against the wall by Sakura.
Abigail and Sakura went into full battle mode, dawning their armor and weapons and stood between the four guests as Ana and Melissa dawned their armor, guarding his back. Jonas needed them to calm down, so with a sigh, he looked over his shoulder.
“Ana, Melissa, can we open portals to their realms? Even for a minute?” He asked and got a nod in return.
Aphrael and Felal walked in with Lela and Zazel, looked at the scene, nodded once to Jonas and left. They knew no one pissed off Ana and Melissa and got away with it, let alone Jonas, Abigail and Sakura. Jonas gestured to the door but left first, knowing they might be weary as the four guarding him followed, though still in full armor. Ana and Melissa nodded to the four who had entered and told them what to do and soon, seven priestesses of Purgatory stepped forward as a clearing was made. When the eight stood on either side of Jonas, the priestesses opened portals to each realm, allowing them to look.
Their eyes went wide, but when they reached out, they were held back as they were told that they would die if they entered. When the portals closed, he saw the sorrow in all their eyes was prevalent, though when he looked to Ashley he walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
“I’ll take your soul to Purgatory, if you follow.” He told her.
She looked down and away, rubbing her nose.
“I’m a necromancer, no one wants me or any of us except those Void things.” She stated.
Jonas, Abigail, Sakura and every Angel and Demon stiffened at that. The void, creatures created from the first wars, vile things that crept in the dark space between the realms and between the galaxies. The emotions from the war caused them to be created, but they were nothing but mindless beasts, though if they were here, things were worse than he thought.
“Are you sure?” Jonas asked calmly.
She nodded as she looked up to him, tears forming.
“I was born with dark mana, and though not inherently evil, some do turn to the dark arts.” She said, tears slowly coming out. “I wanted to do good, remove curses as many others have but I was forced to this.”
Jonas held her as she began to cry into his chest, rubbing her back. Y’solde came over and took her Ana and Melissa walked over to the other side, and they looked pissed. When the four royals walked off ton console Ashley, the four guests looked at Jonas, though he could still tell they were not happy. Jonas looked behind them as a couple of others formed out of the shadows and walked forward, their black armor almost absorbing the sunlight.
“I see the you managed to join the fun.” Jonas told them as they bowed slightly upon approach.
“Can’t be too careful.” One said.
“Never know when the fun will show up.” The other added.
“Of course Dante, and there is always fun where I go Catherine.” Jonas replied to the two Seraphs in charge of what was coined as the Black Guard.
They had no official name as they really didn’t exist, but were a needed part of the realm as they dealt with things that the realm didn’t want any part of. In this case, their mana, dark mana, was tuned perfectly to fight the void and nay with it, were well kept secrets with any realm. They were scary, even by realm standards but Jonas trusted them.
“You heard what she said.” Jonas said, then smiled. “Now, go, hunt, and have fun.” Then as he went to address Ana and Melissa and looked at them. “Don’t kill the mortals if you can avoid it. I’m sure we’ll have a place for them soon enough.”
With that, the two nodded and faded back into the shadows around the Angels and Demons. Gesturing to the two, he walked over to the four royals and the four guests, seeing Ashley finally calm and when he stopped in front of them, he crossed his arms behind himself, keeping his face neutral.
“I, apologize, for what you went through.” He started but Y’solde cut him off.
“How do you know what she went through?” She said, not caring about interrupting him. “I do acknowledge your divinity but I do not accept that you are innocent in this.”
“We are.” Ana replied, stepping forward. “You may not believe us and think what we showed you nothing more then illusion, but, let our actions show you our sincerity.”
“Who ever did this we will crush.” Melissa added, stepping beside Ana. “There is a way to reverse this but it will take time and trust before you can make that step, Ashley.”
“What step is that?” Ashley replied, sniffling. “Do I have to murder my family like they wanted too?”
Jonas looked at her sighed, then stepped in front of her. Putting a finger under her chin, he lifted her face to meet his eyes and smiled warmly.
“We will let you know, but first, lets just be friends, or work towards that point and we can talk then.” Then he wiped a tear away with his thumb and backed up. “First, there is a manor nearby that needs to be dealt with. Can you point me in that direction?”
“And what? Destroy the forest?” The Dryad asked, scowling again.
“It will be repaired as we pass by.” Jonas told her. “We replenish anything and everything if we are forced to destroy it because it is not the right of Purgatory to give or take.”
“It’s over there.” Gwen told him before the Dryad could speak up. “They, um, they kept Ashley there and forced her to become a Necromancer there. You saved us when we rescued her.”
“Thank you.” Jonas replied, bowing his head, then turned to Ana and Melissa. “I need five thousand angels and five thousand Demons. Split them up with Aphrael and Lela leading the two Angelic units while Felal and Zazel lead the Demonic units. Ana and Melissa, you will head both groups.”
He turned and walked to the edge of the forest and stopped, taking his armor and weapons out again, and stood there while the two groups were assembled. Abigail and Sakura would stay behind with the rest to offer any aid to the eight in the camp, though he knew they wouldn’t accept right now but it would be the start of a friendship and they could also extract any information as he went to wage yet another war.
When everything was assembled with four thousand foot soldiers in either group mixed with five hundred mechs and five hundred tanks. Dante and Catherine were hiding in the shadows with who knows how many. He never asked the two women how many, more because they would never tell, and there was no need, they were good with whatever numbers they had.
Raising his hand, all talking stopped as everyone stood at attention, the only sound being that of the mechs and tanks, if you had the hearing for it. Lowering his hand he began walking, the group behind him following. Jonas shook his head, not really believing he had died, been dead for a year, then came to the planet, but here he was, ending one regime full of slavers, mass murders and human traffickers, only to end up on a planet with the same problem. The issue now, was the Void, and he hated that. It was the only reason he needed the soldiers behind him, otherwise he would be forced to use the planets people. Now though, with the planet being under some weird magic created by the gods, their invitation to the Void, a Nephilim, and necromancers, they broke the treaties created all that time ago at the start of the universe, he was free, at least partially, to use them, and he would use them as effectively as he used his people in the civil war.
As he walked, a small mini map appeared in his HUD and though crude, he smiled as Cortana had managed to give him that at least. When they approached the manor, he rose his hand and smirked.
“Time for a bit of music.” He mused to himself.
When he finished, and extended version of the song Drums of the Horde by Fillip Lackovic played. It took only a second for the alarms to be rung. With a smile, he charged forward, troops on his heel as they ran in, swords and guns risen ready for a fight.
Silvercrest Manor
Terence sat back in his chair, a slave girl between his legs sucking his cock while he drank a glass of wine as the commander of the mercenary group he hired sat with a slave girl sucking his own cock. There had been a report of something going on with one his newly acquired slaves, the red headed exiled noble girl.
Ashen? Becky?
He didn’t care, so he he decided to hired them and when the other three came to rescue them, the mercenary sent his troops after them, though they pretended to be part of the armies that they were born in. The mercenary leader enjoyed playing games with runaway slaves, sending fear into them as they were either re captured or killed. Terence wanted her alive, and to possibly bring the other three in as slaves as well, loving how the laws were written in a way to favor slavers in most instances.
When they didn’t return, a party had been sent after, but when they spotted a campsite nearby, they had decided to give them a night of freedom then go after them. When reports of a massive army being spotted soon after was reported, they shrugged it off as jitters by the mercenary soldiers, as the ones who brought it were new. The part of Angels and Demons did interest them, but everyone knew that they never left their continent, and the one that the Eldaran were on was just as isolated.
The revolts that happened centuries earlier had insured that so they were certain it was just a figment of their young, impressionable minds. As they made small talk, discussing slave prices and how the prices had slumped as no one was needing them. Terence was not happy about it as he couldn’t buy and sell to make enough, his finances were slowly being dwindled but he had enough to hold out for several years.
He looked down as the one sucking his cock, a High Elf that was sold because she was born a hermaphrodite and no one wanted her, so he kept her along with her sister who was the mercenary sucking him. Josh was a nice enough man, but he learned to never turn his back on them. Terence was close to climax as he took the girls head and began to force her to go faster, but when the music began to blare, some weird drums echoing throughout the office s if he was right there.
He almost missed it, but when he heard loud bangs outside, his body stiffened as hard as his cock, hearing the sounds of people dying. Terence turned to Josh, who was already getting back as he shoved the girl off him, puling his pants up. Terence did the same, pushing the girl down as he had a tough time getting his pants over his cock. When the loud noises got closer and when he heard them outside of the basement door, he tensed.
The door blew off its hinges as the Fae soldier blew by him, back on the door and slumped when hit hit the wall and slid down. A tall man, a good two meters tall if not taller ducked his head as he stepped through, a scowl on his face. He had on a set of strange armor with crimson runes and glyphs on it, making him very imposing. A great sword was on his back with a chain hanging off his belt and when the Angel and Demon stepped through with similar armor stepped out from behind him, Terence and Josh knew that the troops had not been imagining things.
“How, um how can I help you good sir?” Terence asked s he stepped over the slave, kicking her to the side.
“Would you believe I was taking a stroll to a place named Thermopylae?” The bald man told him as he smirked. “I just happened to stumble across this place and decided to pay a visit.”
Terence nodded along with Josh, both putting smiles. They were pensive and worried but a business deal with a business deal. When Josh brought out some daggers and threw them, he watched them hit his armor then fall to the ground. The man looked at his armor then frowned, rubbing where the daggers hit.
“Hey, that’s rude.” He told them as he looked back to them. “I just had this armor polished.”
When Terence tried to speak and apologize for Josh, the man put a hand to the chain on his belt then felt chains pull him to his chair rather harshly. He heard Josh yell, then start cussing a couple seconds later, he joined him. When the two slaves got up, they looked at them then to the man near the door and squealed, scooting back to the wall. When two more Angels followed by two Demons showed up, they took the girls away, covering their bodies and left the room, leaving them along with the three new people.
“Now that they’re gone, we need to have a little talk.” The man said, pulling a chair that sat in front of his desk out and sat down. “Where are my manners. I am Jonas Kimke, Lord of Purgatory. The two beautiful ladies behind me are, well, that doesn’t matter.”
Terence and Josh both froze at that, eyes going wide and they could feel their blood draining. The man that the gods were suppose to capture a year ago and use as a mana battery for the system was sitting right in front of him. They were told that his mana almost rivaled theirs when he mortal and they feared his ascension, knowing that if their little plot made all that time so, and had recently renewed would be found and then he would destroy them. They didn’t know anything beyond that, but with the two standing by the door looking pissed told him that he was a real threat.
“Now, I have some questions, you have some answers, and depending on how you respond, I might let you live.” The man told him as he smiled. “Now, are you going to be a good boy and play along, or do I need to let my two ladies help you answer the questions I have.”
Jonas
As Jonas charged in, troops on his heels, he noticed a slight difference compared to what Cortana gave him. First, there were a lot more people, and that was an understatement. There were a good five hundred men in black and his hearing told him there were more in tents, none of them were sleeping. Jonas saw their eyes go wide as they noticed the people behind him and began to run but grabbing his chain, he focus and created several hundred chains, bring them to the ground. The first round was quickly bound while those on the other side of the camp charges, getting shot in the head.
While the troops did their work, Jonas ran inside the house, seeing a couple Fae with black colors having sex, but the worry on their faces said they didn’t want to be there. Shooting the two, he looked to them as they yelled, seeing Ana and Melissa walk in followed by Aphrael, Felal, Lela and Zazel. Then the system notification gave him more fuel to be pissed.
Race: Fae.
Name: Fiora
Position: Slave
Race: Fae
Name: Velessa
Position: Slave.
Then he looked to the collar and marched off, chasing a man who was running down a hallway.
Slave Collar.
Binds individual into servitude. Individual is force to do as the owner demands, within the limits of ones abilities.
As He marched down, he saw two more men come out as the one running was loud as he stomped down the hallway. Raising his hand, Jonas used a spell and blasted him through the door, killing him upon impact on the far wall. As he stepped through and got the pleasantries over with by chaining them to their seats, he smiled and looked at Terence as Dante and Catherine materialized from the shadows, their amber eyes shining into the two men, then everyone not chained scrunched their faces as a pungent smell hit their noses.
“I think we perfected the scare tactic.” Jonas told them as they approached each man.
“To think, I thought I was going to have a real man for a treat today.” Dante told him as she straddled Terence.
“You know our Lord is the only man for us sister.” Catherine replied as she straddled Josh.
Jonas watched as the two sat on their new toys, ready to move as Jonas sat back, looking to them. He wanted to go easy but he needed answers and needed them fast so leaning forward, he looked at Terence, wondering if the man would last long before passing out.
“What is your profession, Terence?” He asked.
“You should know, it’s in my profile, or are you just that daft?” He scowled at him, then screamed as Dante jammed a blade in his shoulder.
“Oopsie, my blade slipped. Here, let me take it out.” Then Dante worked it, making the man scream louder in pain.
“Sadistic bitch.” Josh said, only to scream as a knife was jammed in his guts.
“Oh my, I think out weapons were tampered with. Here let me help.” Catherine told Josh, twisting and turning it, forcing Josh to scream louder.
“Again, your positions?” Jonas asked as they got quiet.
“I’m a slave trader.” Terence asked as Josh tried to silence him.
“Shut up you dip.” Josh told him right before howling as a second blade appeared, this one in his shoulder.
Seeing that, Terence looked to Jonas, but before he could ask anymore, the slaver spilled everything. The people of the planet had revolted centuries ago, with those inside Eldaran walls being fine, though he didn’t know if any existed, while the rest of the world went backwards. The man didn’t care, because to him, money was money, which Jonas did understand but his current profession did him absolutely nothing. When the gods came back and made a
When he said that the only thing he heard was that they gods were wanting to get their hands on him, as he was going to die in the space above a year ago. This was to power the gods and the Eldaran, a now small group led by Eldirin, to restart their plans of, whatever they were. Apparently they made a deal with the four empires, where they accepted the deal, but were denied when asked about access to Eldaran technology. The redhead, Ashley, had been captured by him but the other three rescued them. Josh happened to be there and sent troops out in the outfits of their countries army. That is where Jonas had entered but he didn’t let him in on the details.
He had no information there but they did want him to power the planets as the soul was dying, which made Jonas wince internally. The planet’s soul was the planet itself, a type of soul and intelligence that managed weather, mana, and cultivated life to farm the life for more. Those like Earth had managed to find work around systems, and when the mana was reignited, the soul adjusted and managed to receive a far larger amount of mana with both systems in place.
Terence said that he had heard there was a new realm, something about Void but he didn’t quite remember. There was also the part of a new deal with the current empires as they made deals with the gods and the Void for power and wealth. He hadn’t heard anything about what plans there were as he was only a slave trader, but then he surprised Jonas as he nervously looked to him.
“I can find out though, if you let me serve you.” He said, a weak smile on his face. “I can also give you discounts on slaves, loyal ones that will obey you and be good little sex toys! I train them personally!”
Jonas stopped and though. He used his processors to look up the laws in the systems and contacted Abigail and Sakura through the bond to use theirs as well, all three quickly discovering that he could, indeed free them once he owned them. Nodding, he got up and waked over, leaning on the desk as he smiled. There was a second kind of slave collar in Purgatory that all shared, one that could bind a person to the god, in this case Jonas, and be forced to do their bidding.
The downside was, when they disobeyed, it was quite painful but had runes on it to force them to be obedient over time. Though, when they got to the realm, each had it’s own system to integrate them but since Azrael had never set it up, Jonas would have too.
With a command through his bond to Dante and Catherine, they both put those collars on the two men, as he thought that Josh and what was left of his group could be used when using Purgatory forces would be a bad idea. The group outside was immediately collared but before Jonas could stand up, a notification appeared in front of him.
You now own Silvercrest manor.
All slaves and other property have been transferred to you.
You now own Silvercrest Trading Company.
All slaves and product have been transferred to you.
You now own Oakbound Mercenary Limited.
All slaves, troops, and property have been transferred to you.
Jonas was confused but shrugged mentally at the notifications and then closed them as he would look at the numbers later. Cortana sent him a message, congratulating him on his new acquisitions, then told him that she had given him plenty of collars from Purgatory as she was not sure what he would encounter, he smirked and shook his head.
“This is unfair!” Terence yelled, then screamed when Dante put a second knife in him.
“You know what?” Jonas asked as he smirked. “Kill them.”
The two smiled then looked at the men below them and got a look Jonas all to well with them. They unzipped their pants, taking out their cocks and lifting their own skirts, they started fucking them, but the two screamed in pain as the two Seraphs went down on them. Nothing like having someone who could use sex to cause severe pain as well as overwhelming pleasure, kill you through sex through so much pain, it overloaded your nervous system.
When they finished, he received a notification saying that he received experience, though due to the level difference and being in a group, not much was gained. Shaking his head. He walked back out of the room, now having a bit more with the people being subjugated, revolting, created empires, then adopted some of the same ideas he fought against. The making a deal with the gods on their own with the Eldaran was new but it was all the same.
Thinking about the man, Eldirin, who Terence mentioned while he spilled everything and remembered him. The man had gone to the side of Oberon, though his wife and children had left, becoming neutral before the planet got locked away. When he went to walk, he was stopped as the two bodies misted, then disappeared leaving loot, one piece, a large gem that looked like the soul gems Purgatory used for those who were convicted of heinous crimes against the realm, crimes that mortals had never thought of and he was happy for that. Walking over, he noticed that was two hexagon pyramid type gems combined at their base, a swirling, murky. mist inside. They looked off, though he was only familiar with those in his realm, and looked to the rest, smiling.
Platinum, gold, silver, copper along with a necklace, ring and bracelet on both, though the amount of the coin and value of the jewelry was different between them, though they seemed they were both well off. Picking it up, he looked at the necklace, and a pop up screen appeared, giving the name and description.
Necklace of Binding.
This necklace is used by slavers, binding slaves of connected to the collars the wearer has bound to it. To free the slaves, you simply need to break the collars once one has obtained the collared slave through purchase, capture or death of owner.
Sending a command to Ana and Melissa, they went out and made sure the slaves were gathered. Looking at the ring, it was a major ring of inventory and when Jonas bound it to him with the necklace, he looked and noticed how small it was compared to the one Cortana snuck in when he arrived on the planet. Moving to the other necklace and ring and saw they weren’t much as the necklace was one of command, giving Josh a significant amount of authority while the ring was the same, major ring of inventory.
Pocketing the items, though leaving the necklace out, he walked out with Ana and Melissa following right behind him ans as he walked, he looked through each open door, seeing a couple of dead soldiers, pants down as a red paste was seen on the wall. Walking up the stairs he came down, he saw Lela and Zazel standing, parting, and followed behind Ana and Melissa. Aphrael and Felal had separated the mercenaries and slaves, noting that there were indeed, one hundred fifty slave soldiers along with the fourteen slave maids, but they said a redhead had escaped earlier. Jonas told Abigail and Sakura to bring everyone in, but to leave the Angels and Demons there, figuring the amount he had right now was indeed a bit overboard as no Void were reported as of yet.
Walking outside, eh noticed the group he brought were in the encampment, pillaging everything as they too had realized that there was loot. It would be useful for him, Abigail and Sakura as they were stuck on the planet until they could figure out what happened. When he approached the maids to apologize for the treatment of their previous owner, he saw seven different kinds of races there.
There were two of each, High Elves, Dark Elves, Wood Elves, Dragonkin, Gnomes, Fae, and Human, all looking a bit thin, though their chests and legs would say otherwise. When they watched him approach, necklace in his hand, they all got to their knees and removed their tops as they did so, showing off some impressive boobs.
“Please put your tops back on.” Jonas told them.
“Don’t you approve master?” A Fae replied with eyes that were partially dead and partially sad.
“Just put them on and get up.” He told them with a bit of authority.
They slowly got up, looking down as they put their tops on, Jonas shaking his head. He decided to give them a minute to acclimate, though he touched each of their collars, releasing them and smiled as they each gasped.. He moved to the slave soldiers who tried to stand in some form of attention, making him realize he would need to train them. Nodding, he touched their collars, releasing them as well, but then, he moved to the mercenaries, this time, with Aphrael, Felal, Lela and Zazel standing behind the group with troops as they had them kneel, hands bout behind their backs.
Jonas didn’t know what to do with them, seeing as how most of the company died, loot long since picked up and put to the side as a group of Angels and Demons sorted everything out. Noticing the crystals, and that others were bringing more over. Hearing a gunshot, his head turned to the encampment as he saw a pistol be lowered by a Demon who soon collected the loot and continued. Looking back to the mercenaries, there was forty of them, all dressed in black armor, though no where near the Black Guard and as he looked, his eyes fell to a script that most would barely perceive but he could with his bionic eyes. Thinking back ,he brought an image up of Josh and noticed the same script on his chest as well.
Placing his hand on the armor of one man as he began to whimper, then wove his mana around it, dissecting the spell used. He smiled as it came undone, and when a notification came up, he backed up and looked it.
Spell Learned: Dissection
Description: You can dissect spells and enchantments, learning how they are done to clone and use.
Class: Divine.
Level: 100+
Jonas stepped back, and when he heard the song Long ma, he looked back to see the rest of the troops, following Abigail, Sakura, the four royals and tilted his head when the five guests also followed. They didn’t look so pissed this time, instead, their faces were more content. When everyone gasped, the Angels and Demons parted, the troops moving into the woods while the tanks and mechs joined the others in free areas, though a few trees were felled to help line them up. It was then Jonas noticed how big the property was and smiled internally at it.
“I still don’t like you.” The Dryad said as she floated over. “Still, you keep your word.”
Looking behind her, the trees and shrubs were growing back at a rapid pace as the group eyed it. Returning the mercenaries he stepped forward, looking them over and assessed them. Most were one form or another of a warrior with a few mages and couple healers mixed in. They were a bit rag tag but he had taken control, though he didn’t know how or why so with a sigh, he spoke, hoping he wouldn’t have an issue.
“I am now in charge.” Jonas started but was interrupted by a rather large and furious looking man.
“The hell you are!” He screamed.
Zazel’s gun went off and turned his head to face, then looked to Jonas with a wry smile on her face.
“Oops, hair trigger.” She said then winked.
That was enough to settle anyone as Jonas started again. He told them they were all welcome to stay, but if anyone left, they would allow them to do so but do not expect handouts as they would be turned away as he could not trust them. They all agreed to stay but when Jonas took the slave collars out, their eyes went wide.
“Seriously?” One asked then bowed and began crying when he heard the fun click behind him. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I’ll wear it !!”
Zazel put the gun down and patted his head. “Good boy.”
Jonas had an idea then, and though slavery was not his thing, he could not have these people in front of him wandering around without something to bind them to him. After a minute of thought, it came to him and turned, searching for someone, Zazreal came forward when he gestured towards her. Handing the collars over, she looked at them with disgust.
“Can you modify them to fit our needs and force them from committing friendly fire?” He asked her.
She nodded and closed her eyes, focusing as she poured mana into them group. When she opened her eyes, she nodded and smiled as she handed them back. When Jonas took them, he looked at them and was happy with the notification.
Slave collar of Purgatory.
Like its counterpart, it binds the user to the realm and its ruler, but there is no bond. The person who wears it will serve a set amount of time until the ruler or owner of said person is set as penance for the crime done.
Nodding, he put the collars on all forty men and looked over to the maids and one hundred fifty soldiers. With a sigh he walked over and walked in front of them slowly, appraising them. There were eleven of each race behind each maid with a group of ten demi human off to the side. Their stats were impressive with the Fae and High Elves having high magic stats and the Dragonkin along with the Demi Humans having high strength stats. The others fell in the middle with Humans falling in between everyone. They all were, well, stacked with massive breasts and thick thighs, their hour glass figures being amazing.
Thinking about it, he would have to train them to fight, though the technology was set back, he wasn’t sure how powerful Eldirin was nor if Elowin and Vaelina along with their mother Alaris would be friendly. Terence had given him some basic information but his processors had worked over drive searching the system which lead him to the Adventures Guild which was lead by Alaris. Jonas made a point to visit the nearest branch, which was in Sapphire to join, once he made a fake profile which he would need to talk with Cortana about.
Orvaster, which was close by and lead by Elowin was pinned in the system HUD as a place to visit. Eldaran cuisine was amazing, though it never quite beat street food on Terran Prime. The interest in seeing how they integrated the local population post revolt was another interest, making him wonder if anything changed.
Then the Eldaran continent, which was where Vaelina was last seen. That piqued his interest as he had never seen a city, but to have a whole continent that quite possibly had never been touched for centuries post civil war.
When a Fae stepped forward, she looked to him, a confused look on her face.
“Where shall we go to stay?” The woman asked, holding herself. “We’re former slaves but due to not having family, funds or land, we will easily be captured and sold back into slavery.”
“I won’t turn you out.” Jonas told them as he stroked her hair, making her moan slightly.
Jonas had forgotten that Fae based races were very touch based but he continued petting her for a couple more seconds then removed his hands. Abigail and Sakura snickered behind him as he heard a few of the Angels and Demons snicker, all watching her back up and giving him ‘fuck me’ eyes. He just smiled at her and looked at the rest, and when he returned to the Fae, she had relaxed though as light blush was on her face.
“Well, before we go inside.” Jonas said and turned back to the mercenary group and grinned. “Ana, Melissa, make sure they get training because that was abysmal. They didn’t even give me a paper cut.”
A loud noise came from the forest edge a ways off, and Jonas was shocked at how large the property around the manor was then saw a big contingent of soldiers come out. Angels and Demons were around them and he noticed that there had to be five hundred of them, shackled as they were marched towards him. Ana and Melissa told him to go inside as they handled it.
Shrugging, he gestured for them to enter, as the fourteen maids entered but the one hundred and fifty former slave troops stayed outside. Aphrael, Felal, Lela and Zazel followed and made for the kitchen before the maids could, shooing them away.
“Shoo, we will cook.” Aphrael told them.
“Yeah, we’ll make sure everyone will be fed, even those outside.” Felal added, smirking.
No one argued, seeing as Aphrael was still in her Angelic form while Felal was in her Demonic form. Lela smiled in her Angelic form and Zazel in her Demonic form followed shortly after them, all four putting French Maid outfits on. He wash tapped on his shoulder by Abigail as he starred at them, their asses showing below the backsides. Sakura snickered then fell into laughter on the table in her doll form, cracking up at his distraction.
“I swear, those girls know you/” She said then began wheezing.
Abigail snickered as she sat down and watched the others slowly stand beside chairs. When Jonas finally sat, the others did so and then he noticed the four royals and five guests were still outside. It was then that they came in and quietly looked around as they approached to sit at the massive table. Jonas really didn’t know why the man needed a table that could fit thirty plus people, but who was he to judge. Looking around, he knew that they were anxious as they looked around and settled as Jonas while he sat back and looked at them.
Jonas shook his head mentally, wondering if what he was going to tell them would even mean anything to them but they needed to know. Granted he wasn’t going to really say too much, as they were no where near as advanced as him, Abigail and Sakura let alone those from his realm but a general idea would have to do until they could be educated. With a breath, he started talking, going slowly, hitting the main points of his life and career. They asked questions periodically, then gasped at some of the big battles he was in, though again, he didn’t go into detail again.
During his discussion, the four from the kitchen cooked and served, and when he got to them and the realm, they had finished and stood around, answering questions that he couldn’t. It was quite interesting to see them excited to hear about a realm as no one from any of the churches only preached whatever they were told by their patron god. Jonas was unsure how he felt about being worshiped, as Purgatory was just a crossroads between the mortal realm to Heaven or Hell, with a few staying to help with any business the realm needed.
The maids said that as a thank you for saving them, they would pledge themselves to him, a thought he stopped. He knew by claiming a planet he would need o form a circle of people around him to manage cities in his realm, fight in the universe, be diplomats when his world interacted with the universe. Those were just a few of the things he would need, though when he looked to Ashley, he still looked depressed, a thought came to his mind.
The only way a necromancer could avoid being sent to the void and becoming one of those HP. Lovecraft creatures, was to bind themselves to a realm and their god for eternity. There was one position h saw in Purgatory which confused him as necromancers seldom joined a realm, though this one would fight her perfectly. Looking at it, he added her name and went through it to see how it looked.

It worked for her and he smiled at that. When he closed the file in his HUD, everyone was looking at him with curiosity, except for Abigail, Sakura and those from Purgatory. They all knew what he was thinking. Shaking his head, he looked to Ashley, knowing it was best to get the binding part out of the way with everyone as to insure they all had time to think about.
“Ashley.” He commented, looking to her. “I have a proposition for you.”
“Oh?” She asked, a tone of not caring in her voice.
“As you need a patron to make full use of your skills, I have a different idea.” He started as she abruptly looked up. “You can bind with me, though by doing so, you belong to me.”
As he explained the simple part of bonding with him as he had done with Abigail and Sakura, she nodded though she seemed put off by the end. When he started on her title and the abilities, her eyes widened as she put a hand to her mouth. It was a lot to take in, but then, she smiled and nodded quickly.
“Why though?” She asked, tilting her head.
“I’m going to need help if I am going to get out of whatever this is.” He told her, gesturing around.
“I’ll take it. The bond, the job, everything.” She said, smiling. “I’ll loose my necromancer abilities and become one heck of a bad ass warrior.” She stated, a Celtic lilt a bit heavy in her voice.
“Think about it.” Jonas told her, smiling. “We can talk more tomorrow.”
“Now, for the big surprise I am sure no one noticed but will love!” Aphrael said, raising her arms.
“Follow us!” Felal said as they walked off.
Jonas quickly shooed everyone away, including the royals and guests, as he knew what they had done through the bond. He heard them squeal as they saw everything, making Jonas chuckle as he got up to go to what would be his room. Abigail gave him his tent back as they stepped in and saw how big it was.
A massive bed that was twice as big as any bed he saw with banisters and a light, crimson silk barrier surrounded it. There were a few sets of small tables and chairs along with couches scattered around. Large screens hung from the walls except from one that a massive window sat in. There was even a cook area and dining area, making Jonas smile at that, enjoying the fact that they knew he was a homebody when he had the chance to be one.
Going into the shower, it was the same as that of the tent but a lot of filigree covered the walls. Scenes from his life were drawn. The tiled floor was an eggshell white while the lighting was a soft and inviting. A mirror showed the three naked people, Sakura changing back to her adult form. The shower had even more settings as well, though these involved sex which Jonas was not shocked at and when he started the shower, he brought out some new devices and had some fun with the two.
When they finished, they dried him off and this time, they oiled him with scented oils. Jonas was not sure if their powers worked here but apparently they had. Though, thinking bout it, his did earlier when he fought, so he shrugged it off but the power was limited to what they had in reserve and could cultivate. He would have to check to see if there were any mana manipulators he could use to change the mana in the area. It felt slimy, weird and pungent but not enough for him to be distracted by it.
When they went to bed, it was close to midnight as Jonas set his head back, Abigail and Sakura slowly falling asleep on either side of him. They had periodically talked about why they were in human form now, with the similar electronics and runes as him, none of them could answer it. Then again, nothing was learned in a day.
As he shut his eyes, the three heard the door open and could feel the mana Ashley had. Jonas had known she would come to him, but he had hoped that she would wait a night. With that, he didn’t press it as he let her crawl into the bed, knowing full well what she was going to do.
